Trainer at Body Revival

I have always loved living an active lifestyle, from the age of 4 I started playing hockey and continued for 25 years, during this time I represented Victoria on several occasions and Captained the Under 21 Victorian Indoor Hockey Team. I also did Gymnastics at a young age into my early teens, this turned into Breakdancing and I was lucky enough to do a little travel, doing shows for many popular music artists form back in the day (Little did I know this would greatly help my CrossFit later in life)

At the Age of 23 I started my own business and the fitness took a back seat for a few years, during this time I put on some weight and it wasn’t until a new gym opened in the area where I got back in to my fitness, I attended multiple Group Fitness session a day and I re-found my love of fitness. It was at this point where I wanted a little more, coming from a competitive background I really wanted to be able to compete in with my new found energy… so after looking around and not to sure what to do, my parter surprised me for my birthday with a months membership to a local CrossFit gym… lets just say i took to this like a duck to water!

I have been training and competing in CrossFit for almost 4 years now, I have been lucky to complete along side some of Australia and the Worlds best… I love the excitement of a competition and what comes with it, you need to understand your body very well, how to warm up and cool down, what foods to eat, how to recover correctly so you can get through the comp which can be over 2 days and 12 events.

Through my love of CrossFit came my love of Olympic Weightlifting, which I also compete and have been fortunate to stand on top of the podium on several occasions. Olympic lifting is a very technical sport and I have greatly enjoyed learning from some great coaches including a forma World Champion! I have been coaching for approximately 2 years and I LOVE it. Passing on my knowledge to others, seeing people learn and progress, I aim to be supportive and adaptive to my clients and there needs.

Body Revival is so much more than a gym, it has created an amazing community for all, from a first timers to an experienced athlete, I hope to continue to Train, Coach and to be a positive influence on people around me and most of all a good role model for my son!
