As a child I was always into fitness. I played tennis and I was captain of the school Volley Ball and Softball teams. I also represented my school in the 100 meter sprint, hurdles, 4 x 100 relay and triple jump. I have danced since the age of 8, and have owned my own dance school for 18 years. But to be honest, as an adult, I was always slightly overweight and full of excuses not to exercise. I didn’t enjoy any form of exercise or gyms and I never lasted very long at anything. I spoke to a motivational coach about my situation, and explained that I was just not happy, and her advice was to try something called Crossfit. Well……………………I have never looked back!

So, it turns out that I was trying all the wrong types of exercise and exercise environments! Lifting weights and progressing at Crossfit movements not only motivated me to keep going 6 days a week, but it made me strong physically and mentally. As my strength grew so did my confidence to change my life, I am now happier than I have ever been! THIS is what made me want to change my career! I want to do this for others, I want to give to others what my coach and Crossfit gave me. I want to help people become the best version of themselves. I also realise that Crossfit is not for everyone, so it is my mission to help people find what their motivation is and what will get them moving 5-6 days a week.

I also believe strongly in a healthy lifestyle. Education about good food and what works for you is a huge part of body maintenance when training for days back to back. I’m not really huge on supplements, although I realise at times they are needed, a healthy diet and whole, clean and colourful food is the way to go!
